Marc Jacobs is an American fashion designer. He is the head designer for Marc Jacobs, as well as the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs. Jacobs is currently the creative director of the prestigious French design house Louis Vuitton.
In 2009, Jacobs was ranked 15th on Out magazine's list of '50 Most Powerful Men and Women in America'.
In recent years Jacobs had increased his number of boutiques, diffusuion lines and fragrances making him now one of the world's leading designer names.
Jacobs is currently married to advertising executive Lorenzo Martone. In July of 2009, the couple held their wedding in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
