Jaason Simmons

Jaason Simmons born 12 July 1970

Jaason Simmons is an Australian actor, best known for the role of the scarily-haired 'Logan Fowler' on the TV series Baywatch.

After Baywatch, Jaason started to experiment with independent movies taking on controversial roles, including indie director Gregg Araki's film Nowhere, which starred Christina Applegate and Heather Graham. Some of his more recent roles have been in violent/slasher straight-to-video flicks; however his stage career including performances in London and Australia, has been more positive.

As of 2006, he is involved in the periphery of the real estate industry in California, still in his capacity as an actor.

Simmons came out as gay in the March 2008 issue of Australian New Idea magazine with his boyfriend, Irish actor John O’Callaghan. The couple has adopted a Ugandan boy named Odin and despite plans to 'marry' have since broken up.

As an activist Simmons has been campaigning to save the rainforest in his native Tasmania.
